Project Brief:
After an extensive design process spanning two design firms and a lengthy government approval process, this progressive mixed-use residential project was approved by the City of Mapleton. The project adhered strictly to Traditional Neighborhood Design principles and was the first of it’s kind to be approved in ultra-conservative Utah County. Its only predecessor in Utah was the Daybreak Community in SLC, designed by Calthorpe. A detailed Pattern Book, authored in-house by the team, was included in the approvals to help ensure the success of the development architecturally and aesthetically.
